A two-day adventure into inner remote Portugal to climb three via ferrata while understanding how plate tectonics work. Go up to go along 460 millions year old beaches deposited by extinct seas that have been raised, folded and faulted throughout millions of years into the vertical.
This is a two-day Via Ferrata program for physically fit beginners. On the first day you will learn and practice basic techniques on two low difficulty Via Ferrata in the Castelo Branco District while discovering the result of collision between continents. On the second day you will discover the geological wonders of tectonic forces and ancient beaches along the Via Ferrata da Barragem de Santa Luzia.
This all included two-day activity costs 300 euros (+VAT) per person. Includes Via Ferrata equipment (helmet, harness and Via Ferrata kit), guide, personal insurance, light meals (lunch, dinner and breakfast), accommodation (4 star hotel or equivalent) and transportation from Lisbon. Limited to 6 participants.
